So, who is this lady who aspires to such a lofty position?
From Ms. Perham's website:
I am a product of Tampa Bay
The Tampa Bay community is rich: in heritage, in cultural diversity, in entrepreneurial spirit, in ideas and in the arts and this richness is mine. Tampa’s rich diversity created in me the ability to see things from multiple perspectives. It sparked in me a love for people of all kinds: young and old, rich and poor, from all nationalities and backgrounds. And it inspired in me a taste for all kinds of food and drink, an ear for music of all tones and tempos, and a love of different textures and structures.
I am a product of Tampa Bay.
I am inspired to produce work that is a unique blend of the rich diversity that surrounds me. And I am devoted to my Tampa community and will make it my life’s work to give back.

After reading that excerpt from her bio, I think this young lady might be a viable candidate for Mayor of Tampa sometime in the future. I am not suggesting "honorary" here. I am impressed!
Not that Ms. Perham needs to ride the coat-tails of a famous celebrity in the Tampa Bay community, but she is the daughter of my blogging friend, The Ybor City Stogie.
Thank you, Jon!! It's so nice to see my words making their way through cyberspace! I'll be sure to keep you posted on events I'll be hosting.
ReplyDeleteNice blog, by the way! Keep it comin'!
Let the Oracle know when you decide to run for City of Tampa mayor. I think you'd be a good one.
ReplyDeleteI miss Mayor Pam. I have always said it will take some mighty big feet to fill her shoes, but I think you could do it.
That didn't sound right, did it? I'm not suggesting you have big feet, it's just that...
I think I better quit now.
Good luck on all of your endeavors.
