The Football Blackouts

Status report: As of today, 1/14/2012, a total of nine responses to the FCC review of the petition to end football blackouts have been received and posted. That's nine for the entire country. Nine! And not all of them are against the blackout.

Either people don't know that they can let the FCC know how they feel about the blackouts or they just don't care. We can make a difference, but only if we make an effort.

As a side note, I find it somewhat amusing that two of the responses came from Tampa and one each came from Lakeland and Nokomis. Three other responses came from the same person in Yuma, AZ - the one who is not in favor of eliminating the blackout. The remainder were from the petitioners who started this effort.
