"He is imposing his values on the Christian church. He can categorize those values anyway he wants. I'm not going to," Santorum told reporters.
And, whose values is Santorum trying to impose on the American people?
Santorum and the rest of the Republican primary circus clowns of late have truly been hammering away at Obama for being anti-Christian, while they purport themselves to be the epitome of Jesus Christ re-incarnate. While Santorum, for now, is the lead Biblical douche bag, all of the front runners have sworn that once in office they will return this country to the God fearing nation that they envision it to be.
Hallelujah! I can't f**king wait.
In the meantime, I think it would be a peachy idea for all of these bozos to actually read the job description for the office they are coveting:
- The Constitution assigns the president two roles: chief executive of the federal government and Commander in Chief of the armed forces.
- As Commander in Chief, the president has the authority to send troops into combat, and is the only one who can decide whether to use nuclear weapons.
- As chief executive, he enforces laws, treaties, and court rulings; develops federal policies; prepares the national budget; and appoints federal officials. He also approves or vetoes acts of Congress and grants pardons.

I have read the Constitution and nowhere can I find anything that says the President of the United States has any say in the religious beliefs of any American. It is not the president's job to dictate a person's religious preference, or lack of. It is not the president's job to peer into a person's bedroom and tell its occupants what they can and cannot do according to his interpretation of the Holy Book of Parables.
It would really be refreshing if these Republican presidential wanna-bes just stuck with the real issues a president must face, and not keep harping on others that are none of their goddamn business.
You know Jon these Republicans are much like a circus. They invent things that the President is supposed to have said. They are trying to force their values, which are crazy, on the rest of us. They talk about the President leading us in the wrong direction and yet the economy is moving in a positive direction. This is the most misguided and totally wrong group of politicians I have watched in 50 years of following politics. Thanks for your comments on my America Voice the other day.
